Additive Manufacturing Technology

User Forum featuring a presentation by FLOW-3D Engineer Tin Brdnik.

About the User Forum

The Additive Manufacturing Technology User Forum is a long-established event series organized by Fraunhofer IPA for many years. This year, it will once again take place as a larger two-day event, held in cooperation with additional research partners at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus (Fraunhofer IGB, Fraunhofer IAO, DLR, and the University of Stuttgart).

The event provides users, researchers, and manufacturers of additive manufacturing technologies with a platform for professional exchange on current projects and best practices. It addresses a wide range of industries, including mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, medical technology, tool and mold making, and aerospace.

USER FORUM VS TRADE FAIR

Unlike traditional trade fairs, the User Forum offers direct access to research laboratories. Guided lab tours at the Stuttgart-Vaihingen campus provide insights into ongoing research projects. Topics include the latest developments in 3D printing as well as the entire process chain: materials, software, automation, post-processing, and quality control. The combination of scientific keynotes, industry case studies, and workshops creates a unique blend of research and practical application.

ADVANCED FLOW SIMULATION

For Flow Science Germany, the conference in Stuttgart is an excellent opportunity to present our expertise and service portfolio to the industry while strengthening existing and new professional connections. The focus will be on efficient workflows, modern simulation approaches, and their integration into everyday engineering processes. Learn how advanced flow simulation can accelerate and improve your projects.

PRESENTATION BY TIN BRDNIK | FLOW SCIENCE DEUTSCHLAND

A special highlight of the event will be the presentation “Accelerating Process Development in Additive Manufacturing Using Simulations” by Tin Brdnik/Application Engineer Flow Science Deutschland, on 28 April. The talk will showcase current developments and best practices using our simulation software.
