From April 22 to 24, 2026, the leading European congress for applied laser technology, AKL’26, will take place in Aachen, featuring around 80 presentations and approximately 50 exhibitors.
About AKL Congress
In 2026, for the 15th time, laser manufacturers and laser users from various industries will gather at the biennial AKL – International Laser Technology Congress. The AKL stands out for its strong international orientation: thanks to simultaneous interpretation in German and English, all content is accessible to a broad professional audience.
In addition, the conference environment offers a wide range of live demonstrations by the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT and the companies of the Application Center, providing practical insights into current and future technologies.
