A special highlight of the event will be the presentation „Flow Simulation in Microfluidic Systems“ by Frieder Semler/Application Engineer Flow Science Deutschland on May, 20th. The speech will showcase current developments and best practices using our simulation software. After a brief introduction of the CFD code FLOW-3D we will show different application examples for the flow simulation in microfluidic systems such as precision dispensing, microchannel flows, micromixing, particle sorting, inkjets.
Simulation allows to analyze and optimize the design of microfluidic systems before a prototype is built. This presentation should therefore be of interest to anyone involved in the design of such systems.
