Dresdner Wasserbaukolloquium
What role do numerical simulations play in the development of future-proof hydraulic engineering solutions? We show you how to accurately model complex hydraulic processes and make well-informed decisions for safe and sustainable water engineering planning.
About Wasserbaukolloquium
The Dresden Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium is one of the key professional events in the field of hydraulic engineering in Germany. The two-day conference, accompanied by a technical exhibition and organized by the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Technical Hydromechanics at TU Dresden, will take place on March 12–13, 2026, bringing together experts from research, engineering practice, and public administration..
This year’s Hydraulic Engineering Colloquium is dedicated to the topic of ‘Hydraulic engineering between technology and nature: multifunctional solutions for the future’. Among other things, the focus will be on flood risk management, river and sediment dynamics, hydraulic engineering infrastructure and innovative methods for planning and evaluating complex systems.
